Qualifications

• Associate degree or related certification preferred.
• 0-2 years of medical scheduling or front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and scheduling software is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient appointments for consultations, tests, procedures, and follow-ups.
• Notifies patients of confirmations, cancellations, or reschedules with instructions.
• Enters and updates patient data in the EHR/scheduling system accurately.
• Manages conflicts to prevent overlaps and allocates rooms/equipment.
• Provides general admin support including calls, filing, and paperwork.
• Assists with patient check-in and registration and gives necessary instructions.
• Communicates with clinicians to align appointments with priorities.
• Generates and reviews scheduling reports for improvement.
