NorthShore University HealthSystem is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the Pulmonary Medicine Unit at Elmhurst Hospital. This part-time role focuses on staff development, mentorship, and educational leadership within the department.

The Educator will provide direct patient care as needed, mentor nurses, and collaborate with the Clinical Nurse Manager to tailor education and competency programs. A strong nursing background and education in adult learning are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor’s in nursing or Diploma with BS in health-related field; MSN preferred.
• Licensure/certifications: IL RN license; specialty cert; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.
• Experience: At least five years in a clinical hospital/academic setting.
• Unique skills: Adult learner expertise, strong communication, scheduling flexibility, teamwork, presentation skills, ongoing professional development, MS Office proficiency, Workday familiarity, EMR proficiency.
