Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking an Academic Coordinator for the Pulmonary Division to coordinate the Fellowship Program and rotations for fellows, residents, and students. The role interfaces with the Division Chief and Program Director to ensure smooth academic operations.

The candidate will manage applications, housing, visas, travel, and educational activities, while supporting fellows and maintaining ACCME-compliant records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3–5 years in a healthcare setting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Fellowship Program and rotations for fellows, residents and medical students.
• Process applications and maintain accurate files for fellows and alumni.
• Schedule meetings, lectures and conferences; coordinate outside lectures and CME activities.
• Manage credentialing processes for new physicians and staff; coordinate evaluations and recruitment.
• Maintain information in NEW INNOVATIONS and prepare reports mandated by accrediting bodies.
