Job summary

Biodesix is seeking a Pulmonary Sales Consultant in San Diego to lead product adoption and physician engagement across Southern California. You will craft strategic plans, mentor Associate Sales Consultants, and build influence with pulmonology leaders to drive growth.

A strong track record in medical sales and leadership is essential. This on-site role requires 4+ years in medical/diagnostic sales, travel up to 70%, and a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
4+ years of medical or diagnostic sales experience.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel up to 70% with a valid U.S. driver's license.
Experience in pulmonary or oncology markets is a plus.
Pharmaceutical sales experience not preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead adoption of Biodesix products by physicians and providers in the assigned territory.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive market growth and product adoption.
Mentor and guide Associate Sales Consultants (ASCs).
Build relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers in pulmonology.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product improvements and customer needs.
Provide excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.
Track and report sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM.
