Job summary

Biodesix, Inc. in the San Diego region is seeking a Pulmonary Sales Consultant to lead product adoption and relationships with physicians and healthcare providers. You will mentor ASCs and drive market growth through strategic plans and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires 4+ years in medical or diagnostic sales, a strong track record of meeting targets, excellent communication, and the ability to travel up to 70%. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of medical/diagnostic territory sales experience.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient with CRM and MS Office (SharePoint/Teams/Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Valid U.S. driver's license and willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
• Sales experience in pulmonary or oncology is highly desirable; pharma sales not preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead adoption of Biodesix products by working directly with physicians and healthcare providers in an assigned territory.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive market growth and product adoption.
• Mentor and guide Associate Sales Consultants (ASCs).
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare providers, and decision-makers in the pulmonary field.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product improvements and address customer needs.
• Provide exemplary customer service and promptly resolve issues.
• Accurately track and report sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM tools.
