Job summary

Audiochuck is seeking a QC & Publishing Ops Manager to lead the QC & Publishing Ops department, oversee distribution across podcast, video, VOD, and streaming platforms, and drive publishing standards. You will manage two coordinators, refine workflows, and partner with post-production, editorial, marketing, web, and engineering to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QC and publishing operations, digital distribution, or media ops at a digital media company or streaming service
• 3+ years of people management, leading a small team
• Hands-on experience with podcast hosting, AVOD (Tubi or similar), and FAST/linear distribution

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of two coordinators with regular 1:1s and growth support
• Define roles and workflows to ensure accountability and minimize duplication
• Serve as escalation point for platform issues and content emergencies
• Own content distribution across Simplecast, Tubi, FAST channel, and other partners
• Set standards for MRSS, EPG accuracy, and delivery specs
• Develop and maintain standards, SOPs, and checklists for QC and publishing
• Collaborate cross-functionally with post-production, editorial, marketing, web, and engineering
