Job summary

Anne Arundel County Office of Personnel seeks a professional to lead the Bureau of Utility Operations Asset Management Program. The role oversees asset data, CMMS (VueWorks), and inventory control, aligning with maintenance and efficiency goals.

The candidate will develop governing documents, workflows, and policies, and collaborate with consultants to implement system-wide improvements and data governance across water and wastewater infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university and four (4) or more years of experience managing assets and supply chains in a utility or related field.
• CDL (DOT) Class B or A driver’s license is required for this role.
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the Asset Management program, including development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and procedures.
• Oversee CMMS administration, inventory control, and data governance within VueWorks and related systems.
• Develop and monitor KPIs, budgets, and contracts; coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead training and supervisory activities for a team handling asset management and maintenance programs.
