Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Public Works Intern for our Phoenix, AZ office. The internship runs from June 7 to August 13, 2027, with full-time hours (40 hours/week) at an hourly wage.

You will design civil projects under a Professional Engineer, assist in plans, specs, and cost estimates, perform CAD drafting, and support permit applications and regulatory tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist in design of civil engineering projects under supervision.
• Prepare plans, specs and cost estimates for Public Works/Transportation projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work and design calculations.
• Assist in permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
