Job summary

Halff is seeking a Land Development Intern for our Bentonville, AR office. You will assist in civil design, drafting CAD work, and preparing plans, specs, and cost estimates for Water/Wastewater, Public Works, and Land Development projects. The internship runs June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027.

It is a full-time, 40-hour week paid internship. You will coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors and attend client/regulatory meetings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated with good organization.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under supervision by a Professional Engineer.
• Assist in preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Water/Wastewater, Public Works, and Land Development projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in preparing permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
