Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with relevant coursework.
• Five years of clerical experience with a private or public utility firm.
• Three years of Dispatcher experience.
• Strong knowledge of office procedures.
• Proficiency in data entry and computer utilization.
• Ability to plan work and complete tasks without close supervision.
• Strong English spelling and arithmetic.
• Ability to maintain effective relationships with the general public.

Responsibilities

• Assists the engineering staff with daily clerical work; types correspondence from given information, records or reports; maintains records and correspondence files
• Computes total time worked by employees, posts to master timesheet and routes to payroll department
• Prepares all accident reports and other required department reports
• Conducts work order schedules and processes
• Assists with customer issues, complaints and other concerns related to work order installation and cost estimates
• May be occasionally be required to operate a two-way radio
• May be occasionally be required to perform field assignments
• Performs other duties as assigned.
