Job summary

Cruz Bay Watersports at The Ritz Carlton in St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands is seeking a dispatch-focused staff member earning $16.00 per hour. The role requires a USVI driver’s license and customer service experience, with duties including dispatching drivers, monitoring routes, and maintaining records.

Candidates should be able to work outdoors, lift up to 50 lbs, and work holidays, nights, and weekends. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and familiarity with Word/Excel is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its' equivalent (Preferred).
• Previous experience in customer service and/or equivalent work experience.
• Valid USVI driver’s license (required).

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all vehicles are returned at the end of each shift.
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing appropriate solutions.
• Monitor and respond to emails promptly.
• Utilize computer software to dispatch drivers to their designated locations.
• Monitor route and status of drivers and vehicles.
• Enter relevant data into the computer system and maintain comprehensive logs of activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $16.00 - $16.00 Hourly

Duties (NOT ALL INCLUSIVE):

• Monitor personnel and vehicle locations and coordinates
• Ensure that all vehicles are returned at the end of each shift
• Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing appropriate solutions

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or its' equivalent from an accredited institution(Preferred)
• Previous experience in customer service and/or equivalent work experience PLUS
• Valid USVI driver’s license (required)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must be able to walk on various types of surfaces including rough terrain, sitting, standing, maintaining balance, on the beach, and in the water, and working alone.
• Must be able to work various work settings such as exposure to sunlight and outside temperature.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
