Job summary

Keolis America seeks a training supervisor to conduct on-board evaluations, classroom and behind-the-wheel training, and to document compliance with regulatory requirements. This role supports safety and training programs across our operations in California and beyond.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in transportation training, CDL Class B with P endorsement, strong English communication, and the ability to work flexible hours in a union environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; college degree preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive training or supervisory experience in public transportation is ideal.
• Familiarity with DOT policies, OSHA, NIMS, EPA and ADA requirements.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA/Homeland Security/FTA rules and regulations.
• CDL Class B with P endorsement required.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English; basic math skills.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays; union environment awareness.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-board evaluations and in-service training to employees.
• Provides classroom training and behind-the-wheel instruction.
• Completes documentation per Keolis, state, federal, local and company requirements.
• Coordinates safety training processes with Safety Manager and Training Manager.
• Maintains files on evaluations, training, safety, and loss matters.
• Investigates hazardous locations, reports, and recommendations.
