Job summary

Keolis Transit America is seeking a Training Specialist to oversee the safety and skills development of transit teams across the USA. You will design, implement, and monitor comprehensive driver training programs, including new-hire onboarding, classroom theory, and behind-the-wheel instruction for CDL holders and CDL candidates.

You will deliver safety courses, ensure ADA compliance, and promote a safety-first culture, while coordinating instructor certification and contributing to program

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable with OSHA, DOT, EPA, FTA, and ADA requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing training program plans and procedures.
• Ability to conduct investigations, analyze data, and identify corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the training program and ensure effectiveness.
• Teach and support OSHA introductory training for Maintenance personnel and dispatchers.
• Coordinate new-hire bus operator training including classroom theory and behind‑the‑wheel instruction.
• Assist with instructor certification and bus operation training on site.
• Deliver driver training, onboarding, defensive driving, ADA compliance, and customer service.
