Qualifications

• Two years of customer-service experience in an onsite, customer-facing environment.
• Valid Texas driver license and clean driving record.
• Ability to learn and apply detailed laws, policies, procedures, and document requirements.
• Willingness to wear an agency-issued body camera during work hours.

Responsibilities

• Explain driver-license requirements, traffic laws, safety regulations, and related topics to the public.
• Screen applicants, review documents, administer tests, process applications, and follow policies.
• Enter data, payments, and technical details into computer systems accurately.
• Coordinate with internal/external stakeholders to review and approve license applications.
• Advise applicants about suspensions, cancellations, and reinstatement eligibility.
• Inspect vehicles for safety before road tests and explain procedures.
• Conduct road tests and evaluate driving performance as required.
• Meet defined accuracy, quality, and daily processing expectations.
