Job summary

Plante Moran’s management consulting internship offers exposure to public sector engagements, including cities, counties, states, and school districts. You’ll participate in research, technology assessments, and enterprise solution implementation support, interacting with clients to develop innovation roadmaps and technology strategies.

The program targets students pursuing a degree and planning to return to school after the internship, with a non-exempt schedule that may exceed 40 hours per

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, information technology, engineering, or related field.
• Academic success (a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
• IT and/or engineering knowledge/experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process assessment, improvement, and redesign.
• Handling or creating projects (assisting with research, special analysis).
• Advanced technology research and thought leadership development.
• Assist clients with selecting and/or implementing enterprise technology solutions (ERP, EAM, CIS, SIS).
• Developing relationships with clients and participating in networking/business development activities.
• Traveling to client sites to support vendor software demonstrations, interviews, and implementation management efforts.
• Engaging in firm professional development activities.
