Job summary
Plante Moran’s Public Sector & Infrastructure Consulting internship for Summer 2027 offers hands-on experience on engagements with cities, counties, states, utility districts, and school districts. You’ll be treated like entry‑level staff, helping to develop innovation roadmaps and harness technology to enable growth and improve outcomes.
The role emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and real client work, including AI-assisted research and exposure to enterprise technology solutions
Qualifications
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in finance, IT, engineering, or related field.
- Academic success with GPA 3.0+; IT/engineering knowledge is a plus.
- Experience using AI tools and effective prompting for research and analysis is a plus.
- Some exposure to ERP/EAM/CIS/SIS implementations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process assessment, improvement, and redesign.
- Assist with research and special analyses requested by Managers or Partners.
- Advanced technology research and thought leadership development.
- Assist clients with selecting and implementing enterprise technology solutions (ERP, EAM, CIS, SIS).
- Develop client relationships and participate in networking/business development.
- Travel to client sites to support vendor software demonstrations and interviews.
- Engage in firm professional development activities.
