Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Space Management Project Manager to coordinate and deliver space planning improvements across state government facilities. You will manage multiple projects, translate agency needs into actionable plans, and ensure plans meet accessibility and safety standards.

The role emphasizes collaboration with diverse stakeholders, guidance on design software, and data-driven oversight of space inventories and reports.

Qualifications

• One year as Administrative Officer 2 or four years of progressively responsible office management in public or private organizations.
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid, Class C PA driver’s license.
• Experience using drafting software.
• Experience with commercial furniture systems.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Experience in project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple workspace utilization projects for high-visibility agencies and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with technical staff, suppliers, and agencies to translate needs into plans and deliverables.
• Support floor plan design, schematics and space analysis, and lease specification development.
• Provide technical guidance to staff on design software and space management systems.
• Use enterprise data platforms to monitor project status and ensure accuracy of space inventories and reports.
• Ensure workspace plans follow accessibility, safety, and space utilization standards.
• Help shape modern, efficient workplaces that maximize taxpayer-funded facility value.
