USPTO is seeking a Project Manager within the Workplace Strategy & Design Management Division in Alexandria, VA. The role involves managing space programs from initiation to completion, providing guidance on workflow and layout improvements, and coordinating with GSA and space lessors as needed.

Responsibilities include leading floor plan preparation, conducting surveys of space needs and utilities, and developing cost analyses to support long-range space planning.

Qualifications

• One full year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at GS-12 or equivalent.
• Experience independently conducting surveys and site inspections for construction/renovation.
• Experience planning and implementing projects to promote efficient space use, including construction management.
• Experience preparing cost analyses to support budget projections for long-range space or expansion plans.

Responsabilités

• Manage projects from initiation to completion within a space program.
• Provide advice to officials on workflow and layout changes.
• Lead preparation and finalization of floor plans for offices.
• Conduct surveys on space, lighting, partitions, finishes, and electrical needs.
• Prepare cost analyses for space or expansion budgets.
• Act as COR to inspect and verify contractors' work and invoices.
