Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Public Sector, part of the Professional Services team in Customer Success. You will lead secure, open-source based implementations and guide customers through onboarding, testing, and production use of Chainguard images.

You will collaborate with Product and Engineering to capture customer needs, prioritize work, and help customers realize value, while traveling up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of post-sales experience supporting Public Sector clients.
• 8+ years building high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Strong Kubernetes, containers, and modern software security experience.
• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC compliance frameworks.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to engineers and executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images for Public Sector customers.
• Partner with account teams to understand customer vision and drive strategies.
• Ensure Chainguard Images are high quality and easy to onboard.
• Convey customer requirements to Product and Engineering for prioritization.
• Maintain account architecture and share best practices across the org.
• Collaborate, teach, and learn with the Chainguard team.
