Job summary

Chainguard is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect for the Public Sector to join our Professional Services within Customer Success. You will lead implementations and empower customers to use Chainguard to build secure software, acting as the face of Chainguard to end users and collaborating with Product and Engineering teams.

This role requires deep expertise in Kubernetes, security, and compliance, plus strong communication with engineers and executives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a post-sales role supporting clients in the Public Sector.
• 8+ years developing high-performance multi-tier applications.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and containers.
• Experience with FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC compliance frameworks.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for customer engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical implementations and drive adoption of Chainguard images for Public Sector customers.
• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer vision and drive value realization.
• Ensure high-quality Chainguard images and smooth onboarding for customers.
• Convey customer requirements to Product and Engineering and help prioritize image builds.
• Maintain architecture at the account level and share best practices across the org.
• Be a team player who teaches and learns with the Chainguard team.
