GitLab is seeking a Manager of Public Sector Solutions Architects to lead a distributed team delivering solutions for government and related agencies. You will connect GitLab’s DevSecOps platform to mission needs, mentor architects, and drive strategic opportunities across regions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public sector experience.
• 2+ years leading high-performing teams.
• Experience in technical pre-sales or solution design.
• Knowledge of modern software development and cloud practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple high-impact public sector initiatives.
• Manage a team of Solutions Architects with coaching and retention.
• Guide evaluations to show GitLab meets business and technical needs.
• Collaborate with regional sales and cross-functional leaders on opportunities.
• Improve team practices and execution in partnership with leadership.
• Communicate GitLab’s vision and values to the team.
• Track execution with KPIs and provide updates to leadership.
• Model customer engagement as an acting Solutions Architect on select opportunities.
