GitLab Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect for the Public Sector to advise U.S. government customers on how GitLab's Enterprise Edition and DevSecOps platform deliver measurable value.

You will guide evaluations, proofs of concept, and successful deployments while collaborating with Sales, Product, and Marketing. This remote role focuses on pre-sales activities, tailoring demos, POVs, and Customer Success Plans, and building strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders to

Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. public sector or federal customers.
• Hands-on GitLab usage and modern development/operations practices.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into measurable outcomes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Engage with public sector customers, onsite or remote, to provide technical guidance.
• Shape account strategy with sales to drive GitLab adoption within government environments.
• Own technical evaluation, including POC and POV design and delivery, tender and audit support.
• Lead creation of Customer Success Plans and handoffs from pre-sales to deployment.
• Build relationships with technical and business stakeholders to create advocates for GitLab.
• Advise Product, Sales, and Marketing with feedback and roadmap input.
• Stay current on GitLab and cloud practices; develop reusable client assets.
