Qualifications

• Experience in pre-sales or consulting for U.S. government customers guiding evaluations and solution design.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab and modern software development/operations (CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and security-conscious environments.
• Ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business or mission outcomes and advise senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Engage with public sector customers, onsite and remote, delivering tailored demos and hands-on workshops.
• Collaborate with sales to shape account strategies for government adoption of GitLab.
• Own technical evaluation processes including POC/POV design and delivery, tender support, and technical input to proposals.
• Lead creation of Customer Success Plans with clear success criteria and deployment handoff.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to turn them into advocates for GitLab within organizations.
• Channel feedback to Product, Sales, and Marketing to influence roadmap and messaging.
• Maintain expertise in GitLab and related practices; create reusable examples for customers and partners.
• Run Value Stream Assessments to identify delivery improvements using GitLab.
