Job summary

CAI is seeking an Executive Director, Service Delivery - Public Sector to lead delivery across State and Local Government accounts nationwide. This remote, full-time role requires guiding the delivery organization, ensuring high-quality services, and supporting sales with strategic input and RFP responses.

Travel of 25–30% is expected to engage with customers, executives, and industry events while building lasting client relationships and expanding existing accounts.

Qualifications

• Requires 5-7+ years in IT account management or technical delivery in public sector.
• Experience with public sector procurement: RFP cycles, cooperative contracts, and SLA-based managed services.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery organization to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Own end to end day-to-day delivery execution across all accounts and services.
• Identify expansion and renewal opportunities within existing accounts.
• Provide strategic advice to customer stakeholders on key projects.
• Oversee assessments and engagement transitions.
• Support delivery and account managers as escalation point.
• Build relationships with customers and position CAI as delivery liaison.
• Ensure periodic account reviews are conducted and issues addressed.
• Provide solutions aligned with client needs.
• Support Sales with presentations, briefings, and customer calls.
