Job summary

CAI is seeking an Executive Director, Service Delivery - Public Sector to lead nationwide delivery for State and Local government accounts. This remote, full-time role requires 25-30% travel and a proven track record in managing large public sector initiatives and SLAs.

You will drive delivery performance, build strong client relationships, and provide strategic guidance on complex projects, RFP responses, and new business opportunities while supporting the sales team and ensuring high customer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• 5-7+ years in IT account management, technical sales, or technical delivery in a public sector environment.
• Experience delivering large public sector initiatives.
• Familiarity with public sector procurement, RFP cycles, cooperative contracts, and SLA-based services.
• Strong relationships and communication skills across diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery organization to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery across all accounts and services within the vertical.
• Support vertical sales, business development, and building new customer relationships at a national level.
• Provide strategic advice on key projects and RFP responses as needed.
• Oversee assessments, engagement transitions, and delivery escalations.
