Job summary

CAI is seeking an Executive Director, Service Delivery - Public Sector to lead nationwide delivery for State and Local Government accounts. You will own end-to-end delivery, ensure service quality, and drive client success across multiple engagements.

This remote, full-time role requires 25–30% travel to client sites and a proven track record in public sector delivery, RFPs, and strategic advisory. You’ll partner with sales, build strong relationships, and guide teams using CAI methodologies to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology or related field.
• 5-7+ years of experience in IT account management, technical sales, or technical delivery in a public sector environment.
• Experience directing delivery of large public sector initiatives.
• Experience with public sector procurement: RFP cycles, cooperative contracts, and SLA-based managed services.
• Strong background in managing customer expectations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel 25-30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Delivery organization to achieve excellent customer satisfaction.
• Own end-to-end delivery across accounts and services within the vertical.
• Support vertical sales, business development, and building new customer relationships at a national level.
• Provide strategic advice to customer stakeholders and senior consultants on key projects.
• Oversee and execute assessments and engagement transitions.
• Provide support to delivery and account managers as internal escalation point.
• Build relationships with customers and position as CAI delivery liaison.
• Ensure periodic account reviews are conducted and critical issues are addressed.
• Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with client needs.
• Provide project scoping support and SOW creation.
