Job summary

Samsara, a leader in Connected Operations, is seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager for Public Sector. This remote role focuses on developing government narratives, federal GTM strategy, and enablement across federal, state, local, and education segments.

You’ll translate FedRAMP/stateRAMP frameworks into sales advantages and drive public sector launches with cross-functional teams. You’ll own messaging and positioning for government buyers, build enablement content for sales and channel

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product marketing (or closely related go-to-market) experience, with meaningful public sector/government technology marketing (B2G) focus.
• Working knowledge of the FedRAMP authorization process, and familiarity with adjacent frameworks (e.g., StateRAMP/GovRAMP, NIST 800-53).
• Proven ability to independently own strategic programs from conception to completion, and influence cross-functional partners.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to translate complex topics into clear, compelling narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Own public sector positioning and messaging across federal, state, local, and education segments grounded in mission outcomes.
• Build Samsara's federal go-to-market foundation with cross-functional alignment on messaging and enablement.
• Translate compliance into a sales advantage by articulating FedRAMP/state-specific implications to sales and prospects.
• Drive product and platform launches for public sector with government-specific use cases and procurement realities.
• Enable sales and channel teams with battlecards, RFP/RFI content, and compliance-focused collateral.
• Support competitive intelligence for public sector and translate insights into differentiated messaging.
• Represent Samsara at public sector events and forums with content and thought leadership.
