Job summary

Samsara's Connected Operations platform helps public sector buyers—federal, state, local, and education—improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability across government operations. We are seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager - Public Sector to own narrative, positioning, and enablement, translating procurement and compliance realities into winning go-to-market.

This is a strategic, cross-functional role, remote in the U.S., with strong emphasis on FedRAMP, StateRAMP, and GovRAMP, and

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product marketing (or closely related go-to-market) experience, with focus on public sector / government technology marketing (B2G)
• Working knowledge of the FedRAMP authorization process, and familiarity with related frameworks (StateRAMP/GovRAMP, NIST 800-53)
• Proven ability to own strategic programs from conception to completion and influence cross-functional partners
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

Responsibilities

• Own public sector positioning and messaging for federal, state, local, and education segments.
• Build Samsara's federal go-to-market foundation and enablement reflecting our compliance roadmap.
• Translate compliance into a sales advantage by explaining FedRAMP and authorization timing.
• Lead government launches with agency use cases and procurement realities.
• Create battlecards, RFP/RFI content and collateral for sales and partners.
• Track competitors and translate insights into differentiated messaging.
• Represent Samsara at public sector events and forums with content and talks.
