Job summary

Crowe is seeking an experienced Lead Government Consultant to join our public sector practice. This role focuses on modernizing Human Capital Management and payroll systems for government clients, demanding strong management consulting and the ability to guide teams to deliver measurable results.

The candidate will lead analyses, define requirements, and collaborate across stakeholders to implement solutions in an Agile environment while ensuring quality deliverables and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of professional experience in management consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of HR/Payroll processes.
• Prior experience implementing payroll or HCM software, including configuration and testing.
• Current certification in CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA, or PMP.
• Experience using ALM software (JIRA, DevOps, ELM).
• Experience working in a structured Agile or Scrum environment.
• Ability to lead and coach within a matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with public sector clients to design and implement solutions that improve business processes.
• Lead and mentor business analyst teams in conducting detailed process analysis and system assessments.
• Analyze business operations and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, interviews, and workshops to gather requirements.
• Support clients with analytical research to align policies with configured functionality.
• Apply Agile methodology to write user stories and monitor progress.
