Job summary

Crowe is seeking an experienced Lead Government Consultant to join our public sector practice in the United States. You will lead projects modernizing HCM and payroll systems for government clients, leveraging a strong consulting background and a passion for solving complex problems.

You will mentor teams, apply Agile practices, deliver high-quality reports, and collaborate with project managers to meet timelines and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of management consulting experience.
• Currently certified in CBAP, CSM, PMI-PBA or PMP.
• Strong HR/Payroll processes knowledge.
• Experience implementing payroll or HCM software.
• Experience using ALM tools (JIRA, DevOps, ELM).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong leadership in matrixed environments.
• Experience with public sector clients.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with public sector clients to design and implement solutions.
• Lead and mentor business analyst teams in process analysis.
• Analyze operations and provide actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather requirements.
• Support alignment of policies with configured functionality.
• Apply Agile to write user stories and monitor progress.
• Support testing and reconciliations from a business perspective.
• Deliver reports, documentation, and client presentations.
• Work with project managers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Assist with proposals and client relationship management.
