Job summary

EY is seeking a professional to support Forensics Insurance and Federal Claims Services in managing disaster recovery funding projects across FEMA and HUD programs. You will collaborate with engagement teams to ensure compliance and effective delivery to government entities.

This role requires travel to client sites and strong analytical skills, with a focus on high-quality execution and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, business, finance, emergency management or related field.
• 1+ years of related compliance, audit, or financial management experience, ideally with a government agency or professional services firm.
• Effective project and time management skills and the ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Good attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
• Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Work with engagement teams to provide government and public sector clients with services related to management and compliance of disaster recovery funding through grant and stimulus programs (FEMA, HUD CDBG-DR).
• Travel and presence at client sites, along with in-office presence will be required.
