Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Field CTO, Public Sector, to serve as a trusted technical advisor for government customers, aligning DevSecOps, security, and compliance with mission outcomes across complex environments.

You will engage executives such as CISOs and CTOs, guide pre-sales engagements, and translate technical strategy into clear guidance, while collaborating with sales, marketing, and product teams in a fully remote, asynchronous setting.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to translate security and compliance requirements into DevSecOps strategy.
• Experience in pre-sales, consulting, or solutions architecture for public sector.
• Strong verbal and written communication with executives to engineers.

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on DevSecOps and platform adoption in public sector.
• Lead executive-level conversations with CISOs and CTOs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams across GitLab.
• Represent GitLab with transparency and credibility in regulated environments.
