Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Field Account Representative for Public Sector Customers to manage an established MRO portfolio while pursuing new business. This in-person role covers the 215 corridor between Riverside and Temecula and extends through the Coachella Valley.

The position offers a competitive base salary with a monthly sales incentive and includes a laptop/tablet, cell phone, and monthly expenses. Travel is primarily day trips with minimal overnight stays.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B field sales experience.
• Experience with a large volume of product lines.
• Strong organizational skills and tech-savvy.
• Knowledge of facilities products (hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, HVAC).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Salesforce (or similar CRM).
• Experience with consultative/solution selling.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals in a field/remote role.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales volume with an existing group of customers and prospector new accounts to expand the customer base.
• Develops and implements plans to expand business presence in the assigned area; shares market information with channels.
• Develop and sustain relationships with key decision makers and influencers at all levels.
• Attend monthly business meetings for associations; participate in local trade shows and regional/national events as required.
• Assist in training or mentoring of associates.
