Job summary

HD Supply seeks a Field Account Representative for Public Sector in Peoria, IL, covering a Peoria-area territory. You will prospect, grow MRO sales, and support existing customers with consultative solutions.

The role requires 3+ years B2B field sales, knowledge of facilities product lines, and proficiency with MS Excel and Salesforce. Frequent day travel is expected with occasional overnight travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years B2B field sales experience.
• Experience with a large product assortment across related MRO categories.
• Strong organizational and tech-savvy skills.
• Knowledge of facilities products: hardware, electrical, lighting, plumbing, janitorial, HVAC.
• Proficient in MS Excel and Salesforce or similar CRM.
• Experience with consultative/solution selling.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed sales goals in a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains strong sales relationships with key decision makers and influencers to ensure long-term sustainability.
• Manages sales volume with existing customers while actively prospecting new accounts.
• Develops and implements plans to expand business presence in the assigned area.
• Shares market insights and competitor information with relevant teams.
• Collaborates with leadership to analyze market trends and needs for effective sales strategies.
• Attends monthly meetings, local trade shows, and represents the organization regionally.
