Job summary

SmartCOP Inc. is seeking a Director of Sales to lead our national expansion in the public safety software market. You will build and mentor a high-performing team of sales professionals and product consultants to win enterprise deals across CAD, RMS, and JMS solutions.

Reporting to an executive team, you will drive go-to-market strategy, pursue aggressive net bookings, and leverage data-driven forecasting to provide clear visibility to leadership while maintaining a remote-first work model.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in B2B or SaaS with revenue targets.
• Proven record closing complex enterprise deals.
• Experience leading sales and technical pre-sales teams.
• Experience selling to government or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Scale the engine by building and leading a diverse sales and technical team.
• Own the New Name sales cycle from prospecting to closing enterprise contracts.
• Execute strategy to translate go-to-market vision into measurable results.
• Engage in high-value opportunities and cultivate executive relationships with public safety leaders.
• Use data-driven forecasting and CRM insights to drive performance.
