Job summary

Willdan Group, Inc. is seeking an Outreach Manager to support the California Public Sector energy efficiency program team.

The role focuses on proactive engagement with public agencies in Southern California to maximize enrollment and participation under SCE and SoCal Gas territories. You will lead or assist energy efficiency projects serving local governments, school districts, tribal nations, and federal agencies, requiring collaboration, attention to detail, and navigation of local government

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in public administration, business, engineering, environmental science or economics.
Experience using CRM or tracking databases.
Ability to travel ~20% and engage CA agencies in the program area.

Responsibilities

Develop targeted engagement strategies to strengthen public agency relationships and increase program participation.
Serve as the dedicated point of contact for public agencies and coordinate with internal teams.
Interface with stakeholders to execute relationship-based strategies for new participants.
Meet with agencies to guide onboarding and set foundations for partnerships.
Assist agencies in navigating internal approvals to advance participation.
Collaborate with management to ensure compliant delivery of technical services.
Track milestones and provide status updates to executives and project teams.
