Job summary

Salesforce seeks a Security & Compliance Architect to support pre-sales with DoD and national security customers, blending technical depth with sales acumen. You will work with cross-functional teams to map requirements to Salesforce security capabilities, ensure regulatory conformance, and enable secure adoption of our PaaS/SaaS offerings.

The role requires deep understanding of DOW/DOD frameworks, strong communication, and the ability to travel domestically. A U.S.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
• Proven solution engineering / pre-sales experience in security or compliance.
• Working knowledge of DOW/DOD compliance frameworks: CSP SRG, DFARS, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, FedRAMP, DoDI 8510.
• Understanding SaaS, multi-tenant and multi-tier infrastructure.
• Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance and travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer risk and communicate how Salesforce infrastructure and features address them.
• Advise on IL4/IL5 authorization requirements and GCC High interoperability.
• Collaborate with Technology Compliance, Product and Engineering to represent DOW/DOD requirements.
• Present security stack and develop demos for defense and national security use cases.
• Publish enablement materials and lead technical workshops for customers.
