Job summary

Leadout Capital is seeking a Security & Compliance Architect to support pre-sales engagements with DoD and other national security agencies. You will blend deep security knowledge with sales skills to craft effective solutions, demonstrations, and guidance tailored to defense audiences.

The role requires understanding of CSP SRG, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and related frameworks, with the ability to communicate risk, security controls, and architecture clearly at executive levels.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Proven pre-sales or solution engineering experience in security/compliance.
• Working knowledge of DoD/DOD compliance frameworks (CSP SRG, DFARS, CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, FedRAMP, DoDI 8510).
• Understanding SaaS, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infra.
• Knowledge of security controls for multi-tenant web apps (SSO, OAuth, SAML, encryption).
• Ability to obtain government clearance and travel domestically.

Responsibilities

• Present Salesforce cloud infrastructure and security stack to DoD missions.
• Build and deliver customized demos for defense use cases.
• Represent Salesforce in DoD RFI and policy engagements.
• Translate customer requirements to product/marketing inputs.
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with defense stakeholders.
• Explain compliance mandates to customers and stakeholders.
• Engage with technical staff to CIO/CTO levels.
