Job summary

Anthropic in Washington, DC is seeking a Customer Success Manager for its Public Sector team. You will serve as the post‑sales trusted advisor helping national security customers leverage Claude products on cleared infrastructure, driving adoption and value.

You will work with Sales, Applied AI, Product, Engineering, and Policy to guide deployments through enablement, renewal, and expansion, building partnerships with AI leadership and mission operators in a security‑conscious, on‑site capacity.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with active TS/SCI clearance with a full‑scope polygraph.
• 5+ years in customer‑facing roles (CSM, TAM, etc.) with on‑site work in the National Capital Region.
• Experience with consumption‑based and seat‑based products.
• Technical fluency with AI/ML concepts and API integration.
• Ability to communicate with diverse stakeholders across technical and leadership levels.

Responsibilities

• Understand mission requirements and translate into an account and success plan.
• Lead post‑sales Claude adoption from deployment to expansion.
• Support Claude Code/Claude API on classified infrastructure with capacity planning.
• Create enablement content tailored to different audiences.
• Drive adoption, capacity planning, and workload onboarding with the customer.
• Own Executive Business Reviews to align sponsors and plan next steps.
• Collaborate with cleared cloud providers and internal teams to ensure success.
• Work onsite at customer facilities and maintain need‑to‑know controls.
