Job summary

Google Public Sector is seeking a Customer Engineer to collaborate with technical Sales teams, demonstrating and tailoring Google Cloud solutions for federal and other public sector customers in the United States. You will help customers understand cloud capabilities, develop creative cloud strategies, and address technical questions with robust demonstrations and proofs of concept.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience designing cloud-native enterprise-grade technical architecture.
• Experience designing, managing, and operating HPC systems, MPI workloads, low latency networking, and parallel file systems.
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Work with account teams to identify and qualify business opportunities and resolve technical blockers.
• Share Google Cloud expertise to support technical relationships, bid responses, and product briefings.
• Demonstrate and prototype integrations with Google Cloud in customer and partner environments.
• Recommend integration strategies, architectures, platforms, and infrastructure for complete Google Cloud solutions.
• Lead prospecting and build customer relationships as a trusted advisor on long-term technology decisions.
