Job summary

Google Public Sector seeks a Customer Engineer to help state, local government, and education customers harness Google Cloud and GenAI capabilities. You will lead immersive product briefings, drive proof-of-concept work, and orchestrate technical resources across GPS.

Translate academic requirements into scalable, automated architectures while collaborating with Sales and product teams. You will travel to customer sites and conferences, engage with government leaders, and help accelerate digital

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
Experience with cloud infrastructure engineering, on-premise infrastructure engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Sales to uncover and qualify Google Cloud and AI-first opportunities and develop strategic pathways.
Own the technical relationship with State & Local Government customers, leading immersive briefings and PoC work.
Prototype intelligent integrations bringing autonomous agents and AI-powered workflows to life within customer environments.
Design AI-optimized enterprise architectures and data platforms using Google Cloud best practices.
Travel to customer sites and events to engage with government leaders.
