Job summary

Nutanix is seeking a US Public Sector NCR Senior Portfolio Sales Specialist to lead the plan for Nutanix NC2 on public hyperscalers and regional cloud partners such as AWS, Azure, Google, OVHcloud, and more. You will align with pre‑sales, field, and channel resources to drive NC2 sales and consumption targets in your region.

You will be hands‑on, coach teams, orchestrate large deals, and expand opportunities while collaborating with executives and partners to demonstrate business value and win

Qualifications

• 5+ years of quota‑carrying cloud software sales experience.
• Federal and/or SLED sales experience preferred.
• Experience selling private or public cloud solutions is a plus.
• Experience influencing at a matrix organization and engaging stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud, virtualization, and mgmt/ops technologies.
• Experience in IT Cloud, DevOps, FinOps, or Infra domains.
• Experience engaging at a C‑level.

Responsibilities

• Own the sales revenue and GTM plan for NC2 in your region and overachieve targets.
• Drive pipeline generation through Marketing, Channel, and Field activation.
• Influence and shape customer decisions, serving as a trusted advisor.
• Be the face of Nutanix in PR, blogs, and events in your region.
• Drive adoption of NC2 with product experts, solution architects, and partners.
• Lead business value conversations (TCO/ROI) with customers as deals progress.
• Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and product teams on regional needs.
• Build relationships with Cloud Service providers to maximize partnerships.
• Collaborate with enablement teams to prepare the field for success.
• Lead client meetings to position Nutanix hybrid multi‑cloud messaging.
• Work with the US Public Sector Channel to ensure readiness and enablement.
• Coordinate with Marketing to amplify hybrid multi‑cloud visibility across the territory.
