Job summary

Google Public Sector is hiring a Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams and differentiate Google Cloud for customers. You will help clients and partners understand the power of Google Cloud, craft cloud solutions, run proofs of concept, and troubleshoot technical questions while collaborating with product management to prioritize customer-impacting solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience in migrating applications and services to cloud platforms.
Experience with GenAI use cases, or deploying custom AI applications.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify business opportunities; understand technical objections and resolve blockers.
Share in-depth Google Cloud expertise to support technical relationships, including bid responses and proofs of concept.
Demonstrate and prototype integrations with Google Cloud in customer and partner environments.
Recommend integration strategies, architectures, platforms, and infrastructure for complete solutions.
Lead prospecting and build customer relationships from scratch, becoming a trusted advisor.
