Job summary

Socure is seeking a Director, Capture and Proposals, Public Sector to turn our mission into awarded contracts. You will lead the capture lifecycle, shaping opportunities, teaming strategies, and price-to-win while directing compliant and compelling proposals.

You will partner with Sales, Government Affairs, and the Head of Market Strategy to engage buyers early, respond to RFIs, and build a scalable library of content, win themes, and review processes to drive a repeatable, disciplined win

Qualifications

10+ years in government capture and proposal leadership for technology, data, cybersecurity, identity, or software companies.
Experience leading and scaling capture and proposal functions with process, tooling, content library, and team.
Proven ability to win complex, competitive pursuits including shaping, teaming, solution and price strategy, and orals.
Strong command of Shipley, APMP, or equivalent methodology.

Responsibilities

Lead Socure’s capture and proposal operating model, including lifecycle, stage gates, roles, tools, and metrics.
Own the capture lifecycle on priority pursuits from identification through award.
Establish bid/no-bid discipline with Sales, Finance, and leadership.
Shape before the RFP by engaging buyers early and influencing requirements.
Direct and write RFx responses end to end with compliant, persuasive narratives.
Ensure submissions meet procurement regulations and company standards.
Manage knowledge with a proposal content library, reference database, and security Q&A bank.
Own the pursuit pipeline and report status, resourcing, and win rate.
Run post-submission debriefs to drive continuous improvements.
