The role emphasizes patience, credibility, and disciplined opportunity management, with collaboration across sales, product, and marketing to win strategic government deals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of B2B sales or business development experience.
• Public sector, GovTech, SLED, or regulated industry experience strongly preferred.
• Patient, disciplined, and comfortable with long sales cycles.
• Relationship-driven and credibility-focused—not a high-pressure closer.
• Strong communicator who listens first and sells second.

Responsibilities

• Identify & develop government opportunities through outreach, events, and strategic account planning.
• Conduct outcome-driven discovery focused on public sector outcomes.
• Build long-term trusted relationships with government agencies.
• Navigate procurement processes including RFPs, RFIs, and cooperative contracts.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Product Managers, Pre-Sales, marketing, and leadership to develop pursuit plans.
• Stay organized and forecast opportunities accurately.
