Job summary

AMSYS Innovative Solutions, LLC is seeking a Public Sector Growth Manager to expand our state, local, county, and municipal business from Houston, TX. This role focuses on growing revenue through existing public-sector contract vehicles, strategic accounts, and agency relationships.

You will identify opportunities early in procurement cycles, build a robust pipeline, and collaborate with recruiting, delivery, and leadership to tailor solutions for government clients.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into state and local government or other public-sector organizations.
• Strong knowledge of government procurement and contract vehicles.
• Background in IT staffing, professional services, consulting, or technology services.
• Proven ability to build relationships and generate new business.
• Experience selling both staff augmentation and SOW/project-based services is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grow staffing, consulting, and SOW opportunities across public-sector accounts.
• Develop relationships with state agencies, counties, municipalities, procurement teams, and IT leaders.
• Leverage existing contract vehicles to create new business.
• Identify opportunities before and during formal procurement cycles.
• Build and manage a qualified pipeline of public-sector opportunities.
• Work closely with recruiting, delivery, and leadership teams to develop solutions and respond to client needs.
• Support RFPs, RFQs, task orders, mini-bids, and other government procurement opportunities.
• Expand existing accounts into new departments, agencies, and service areas.
• Identify teaming and strategic partner opportunities.
