Job summary

EDB is seeking an Analytics & AI Account Executive for the Public Sector to accelerate Platform and Analytics revenue. This strategic overlay role partners with PubSec Sales Account Executives to drive opportunity generation, deal velocity, and field enablement.

You will co-sell on active deals, design targeted campaigns, and serve as the domain expert ensuring our analytics messaging resonates with government customers and complies with security requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of exceeding quota in enterprise technology sales.
• Experience selling Analytics, AI, data platforms, cloud, databases, SaaS.
• Understanding of government regulations, and security/data requirements in the public sector.
• Familiarity with Public Sector customers and leaders – culture and structures.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Ability to create pipeline beyond inbound opportunities.
• Experience selling complex solutions to enterprise customers.
• Strong understanding of Analytics, AI, data platforms, modernization.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior technology and business executives.
• Strong discovery, qualification, negotiation, forecasting, and closing skills.
• Ability to overlay across multiple Account Executives and accounts.
• Strong collaboration and influence without direct ownership.

Responsibilities

• Deal Acceleration: Co-sell alongside account and territory owners on active deals, providing specialized expertise to progress and close Platform and Analytics opportunities.
• Pipeline Generation: Design and execute targeted analytics campaigns within existing accounts to unearth new opportunities.
• Field Enablement: Act as the primary domain expert for the sales organization, ensuring AEs have the latest analytics messaging and value propositions.
• Strategic Alignment: Work with account owners to integrate analytics solutions into broader territory plans.
