Job summary

EDB is seeking an Analytics & AI Account Executive, Public Sector Sales, to accelerate Platform and Analytics revenue across public sector accounts. You will co-sell with PubSec SAEs, design targeted campaigns, and serve as the domain expert for analytics messaging and value allocation.

You will align analytics solutions with account plans, engage senior leaders, and drive opportunities within enterprise public-sector contexts.

Qualifications

• Quotas exceeded in enterprise technology sales.
• Experience selling Analytics, AI, data platforms, cloud, databases, or SaaS.
• Understanding of government regulations and security/data management for sensitive Public Sector data.
• Familiarity with Public Sector customers and leadership culture.
• Strong consultative and value-based selling skills.
• Ability to build pipeline beyond inbound opportunities.
• Experience selling complex enterprise solutions.
• Solid knowledge of analytics, AI, data platforms, or modernization.
• Ability to engage credibly with senior executives.
• Strong discovery, qualification, negotiation, forecasting and closing skills.
• Ability to overlay across multiple AEs and accounts.
• Collaborative, influential, and highly accountable.

Responsibilities

• Deal acceleration: co-sell with account and territory owners to advance complex Platform and Analytics opportunities.
• Pipeline generation: design and execute targeted campaigns to uncover analytics opportunities.
• Field enablement: keep sales teams informed with analytics messaging, positioning, and value.
• Strategic alignment: ensure analytics solutions integrate with broader account plans and territory strategies.
