Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a Technical Program Manager in Massachusetts to lead agentic workflows for a national security customer. You will own or support an account plan, triage technical issues, and coordinate resources to deliver reliable AI solutions for public sector use cases in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with engineering, operations, and public sector teams to tailor AI systems to government needs, manage risk, and drive repeatable success.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 3+ years in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles.
• Technical background in CS, statistics, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of generative AI/ML fundamentals (RAG, evals, agent orchestration).
• Structured, analytics-driven problem-solving.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work at a cleared facility in the Greater Boston area 3+ days/week; travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Drive innovation by solving undefined technical and operational challenges for Public Sector customers.
• Create or improve solutions using technical concepts and tools.
• Use data and analytics to align internal resources and add value for public sector customers.
• Transition AI/ML technologies into working Public Sector products where requirements are undefined.
• Partner with engineering and operations to deliver AI systems for government use cases.
• Lead cross-functional teams to exceed AI/ML objectives for customers.
• Identify and address risks to sustain long-term customer health.
