Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the Public Sector in Dayton, OH. You will lead cross-functional delivery of agentic workflows for a national security customer, owning account plans, triaging issues, and aligning resources with Scale’s most challenging problems.

A strong technical background and AI/ML proficiency are essential as is the ability to work at a cleared facility and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 3+ years in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles.
• Technical background in CS, statistics, or engineering.
• Strong understanding of generative AI/ML fundamentals (RAG, evals, agent orchestration).
• Data-driven, analytics-oriented problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work at a cleared facility in the greater Boston area at least 3 days/week and travel ~25% (surges up to 50%).
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming language.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate delivery of agentic workflows for a national security customer.
• Own or support a customer account plan and triage technical issues.
• Use data and analytics to align internal resources around Scale’s hardest problems.
• Transition AI/ML technologies into Public Sector products and solutions.
• Partner with engineering and operations to build AI systems for government use cases.
• Lead cross-functional teams to exceed customer AI/ML objectives.
• Identify risks and ensure long-term health of the customer base.
